We stayed at this hotel for a week in August 2020. We liked it very much. Room, food and service perfect. We felt very much at home with the Robben family.

Warm atmosphere, very good food, clean, spacious and very chic rooms. The very nice, courteous staff (including senior boss :-)) rounded off a pleasant stay at Robben. We were not there for the first time, and certainly not for the last time.

Very 😋 the food very friendly

We would love to come back we really liked the rooms and surroundings. We also really liked the consideration for our dog that we could have them with us while eating. Unfortunately we found the dinner a bit too expensive and not well seasoned. The carrot salad tasted a bit spoiled. Nevertheless we will definitely come back.

A very nice place to relax! Everything is just right here. Bright, tastefully furnished rooms. A great breakfast and an excellent menu. Here are no wishes left; a paradise.

Great service. Being able to make an appointment at short notice to eat with a group of 26. Specially a choice menu that my guests could choose from. This makes me happy as a coach driver.

The Gasthof Robben offers not only a familiar and cozy atmosphere but also excellent cuisine. There is not just good food here, there are culinary experiences here. The employees and managers of the company are passionate about what they do, they are passionate about what they do. You can see it, taste it, feel it. If I could give 10 stars I would. I can only recommend Gasthof Robben to everyone - both for a vacation and for a visit to a restaurant. We will be back definitely!

Very warm restaurant with German cuisine. You should reserve! The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. Extra requests were dealt with directly. Gladly again!

Fantastic place and a perfect ambiance to relax a day or to recharge your batteries. According to package "Kurze Auszeit mit Sektempfang" it is really very well cared for here for food, drink and sleep. The sommelier put together a perfect wine arrangement for us, which harmonized very well with the four-course menu. It became a real party for us and everything was high on taste. Hats off for the very accurate and professional service. After a good night's sleep we were pleasantly surprised at a very extensive Emsländer Frühstuck and that is really worth a detour. With a more than satisfied feeling we have returned home after this very short delay. We will definitely be back.

Excellent customer service and the standard of the rooms is very high. All the staff are multilingual and very helpful. The food is also very good. I always enjoy my stays at the Gasthof Robben

Cozy, incredible food, great service!!

We had a good dinner. I discovered the place when I did the tour from Skik ‘op fietse’. When we come back from holidays we are often around Meppen at dinner time. We like to come back next holiday.

And once again a superb meal. Delicious! And the deserts are to die for. Can't wait to get back to this restaurant. Lovely staff, friendly people and really, really, really good food. Thanks once again for a splendid evening.

The hotel and the restaurant are wonderfull, near a small village named Habelermeer. The church is very beautiful. The restaurant has a service and the meals are top! Its very good to go there with tour familly! The rooms are very cleaned!

Traditional German cuisine with dishes that are not very expensive. Located in old bog settlement and near to the highway Amsterdam-Bremen.
